A new Extra Class Pool has been released and will go into effect on July 1, 2008.

Amateur Radio has new rules for licensing.  For each class of license, only a written test is required!  The initial license (Technician) has now become much more of an
entry-level license, with priviledges throughout the HF and VHF/UHF spectrum.  Technicians can now transmit CW on 80, 40, 15, and 10 meters, as well as voice on 10 meters!
