Ham Classes
We are pleased to offer the following classes. Any additional scheduled classes will be posted here as well. Click on the links in the table for more information about that class.

*Please do not let the class fee be a barrier to your attendance. If this is a problem,
please get in touch with us and we will help you attend.
No purchase of a book is required. There is quite a bit of free material online, including the material by KB6NU that you can download anytime.
You are encouraged to get a reference manual ahead of time and study it thoroughly. Familiarize yourself with the ten major headings in the question
pool and skim through each. Write down your questions and highlight any areas
where you want to pay particular attention during the weekend class. That way,
you'll be ready when that section is presented and the presenter will be happy
to answer all your questions!

There is an additional $5 testing fee when you come to take your test. For the testing schedule, please click on "Test Sessions" above.
For lunch, there are several good choices. Some choose to bring a lunch. You can also eat at the Willamette Goudy Commons for around $7. There are also several restaurants within walking distance on the other side of 12th Street.
Materials you'll need for the class
Most participants like to get themselves a copy of the ARRL License Manual. You can purchase one at Dan Judy Automotive in Salem, or at Ham Radio Outlet in Tigard. The ARRL "Q&A" is a good reference too. Another good reference is the books by Gordon West.
